Help please! What is wrong with these chicks that didn't hatch? PICS

Actually, if you look at the final picture of my second link you will see the yolk has taken on a green tinge and that is two/three days before hatching.

It looks to me like low temperature or high humidity or both. I have noticed green poop like that before so i think that is what the green is. That's why i think it's low temperature because it should have already been hatched. What day did you open these eggs?

If they were alive when you opened them.. you killed them. Those are 3 days from hatch or more. Late stage movement is often very hard to see.

But if you candle the small end - if there IS significant clear/yellow - then the chick is no where NEAR ready to hatch - whatever day you think it is. The small end of those eggs would have candled with a SIGNIFICANT clear-yolk pocket. Meaning the yolk was unabsorbed.

So... they were unfortunately not dead til you opened the eggs.
