I very well could be air. Birds can rupture their air sacs either from injury or from infection. Here are some air sac bictures:Kind of feels like air. Can't really feel anything lodged in there. I can feel his neck and some bone in the swollen area.
The build up of the air can cause the neck to bend. I had one with a ruptured sac that ballooned up it's body so much it couldn't walk.Amy idea on why his neck is crooked? Also what can we do to help him get back to normal? I was thinking it could be crooked neck? Canning give niacin or some vitamins?
