Glad youjoined the Backyard chickens flock. You can't just put new birds in with old ones. Chickens have a very strict "pecking order." It's best if new & old are given a lengthy integration period. They should have a wire barrier dividing the coop AND run, so they can see each other without fighting and bloodshed. Of course both sides should have feed and water dishes available. After some period of time, they will ignore each other. Then you could try combining them with your supervision.
