So my orpinton pullet now 5 months is sick.
First I thought she might just be sore from my mom stepped on her foot. And I have been keeping an eye out for bumble foot but it's been a week and no bumble. She is still sore when walking. But now she is unbalanced, takes a few bites of food then her eye shut like she doses off and she sways a little. I don't think she's lost any weight but she hasn't gain any lately.

When chickens have an injury they can really act like they are dying! I've experienced it twice with two of my chickens. The only thing is that they recovered back to "themselves" within 2 days. You may want to have her foot checked out. Otherwise I would do initial sick chicken protocol, keep her warm and add vitamins and electrolytes to her water.

Another more experienced chicken person may be able to answer more but this can get you started.

She has all these symptoms but she was more then capable of jumping 2 feet to her perch
