So my duck eggs are not hatching but I don't know what day their on though. Does the water test work or no? Also does it hurt them? I don't know if their alive or dead.

Are they in an incubator or naturally brooded? The less you mess with a setting duck the greater the chances for a successful hatch.
The water test worked for our chick eggs. You just have to make sure the water is warm and there are no fine cracks, other wise they could drown. Most times the chick will move the egg and it will start wobbling in the water, which is really exciting!

No, I don't dry them off as it can take the protective coat off of the egg. They will dry on there own in the incubator. Hope this helps!
