What kind of thermostat are you using or how are you controlling the temp?
Is that the thermometer on the side?

I would not want my humidity that high for the first 18 days.

yes... its he thermometer....and this is the thermostat im using... so what shoud be the humidity.... for the first 18 days sir....?

You need to add heat sinks to your bator to help keep the temp stabile

clean rocks, closed jars or bottles of water, etc

Good Luck!!!

OK, to start I use a humidity in the 30s for the first 18 days. Meters can be off---way off---so some candle and check air cells. Being this is your first time---who knows how accurate your meters are?? My concern with your thermometer "way up there" is the eggs are Way down there. I would want to take my temp/humid readings where the eggs are. That thermostat---I am not familiar with so its on and off range might be several degrees But if you will balance it out it should work.

Looks like the fans are pulling in and blowing out at the upper part so there probably is a lot less air movement where the eggs are----if the fans were blowing down and around the eggs---you would be correct----should not make a difference----you have to look at how something is built, BUT he could have the air flow/return under the eggs----So it might not make a difference----maybe he will reply to this?
