My hen is sick. She is 2 years old. She's very lethargic, pale comb, feather loss around comb. I've checked for lice and mites, no sign. Also not egg bound. I lost my first hen about a month ago and she was showing the same symptoms. I just don't know how to help her!!!

Does she eat or drink? Dewormed lately? What's her poop looking like?

Yes she's eating and drinking. No, I've never dewormed. Can you recommend one...there is so much different info out there about it. Not sure about poop...
In my flock worms usual present with pale Combs and or wattles, diarrhea, lethargic, and sometimes eating more or less, weight loss, and a general unkept look. She doesn't look unkept but not all birds show the same symptoms. Wazine is the typical chicken dewormer . Not sure about your location but I'm sure it's available widely in the US. It goes in the water and I'm not sure about egg withdrawal since I don't use this brand. I use ivermectin cattle pour on that treats internal and external. It's controversial due to it being cattle product and the egg withdrawal whether to withdraw or not. I've heard mixed things but we do what works best for us. This works best for my flock. Valbazen is also a broad spectrum dewormer I've heard great reviews about. I believe it to is oral. Does she have any crop issues? Is it Full in the morning? Smelly? Leaking anything from her vent?

Wazine is no longer available in feed stores. Other wormers are Valbazen or Safeguard Liquid Goat Wormer, but those has to be given orally to each chicken.

Has your hen been laying eggs recently? Have her eggs been thin shelled or shell-less. Is her tail up or down? Has she molted this year? What do you feed? What do her poops look like? Pictures of poops are welcome.

She passed away. I'm so sad. She was my best girl ❤️
I don't know what happened!!! And I was wrong. I did just give them all a dose of Invermectin. I also cleaned and treated them all with poultry dust. I did all of this before the first one passed. Could it be Marek's??? Both of them died the exact same way...legs out and stiff and neck seemed almost broken.

So sorry for your loss. Can you save her body, keep it cool, but not frozen, and take or send it in to your state vet for a necropsy. They can usually tell what might have caused the death, including if it points to Mareks. Then if you want to confirm that, they can do testing. Explain that this is a backyard hen, and you have had 2 others die recently. Here is a list of state vets:

so sorry for your losses, I would follow eggcessive's advice and get this one to the state vet for a necropsy so you know what your dealing with, Also the medication you gave your flock is for lice not worms, I would go with Valbazen or safeguard, until you hear back what your dealing with. Eggessive is one of the dosage master, though cannot remember it,one of these days will remember to at least copy it down so don't have to ask every time.

Ok thank you so much. I will get the dewormer right away. I'm just heartbroken. Knowing what happened to her would mean so much.
