ok so we used to let the ducks “free range” in our giant fenced in pond area all day and night. now that we have moved, we can’t do that because our neighbors dog tries to get to the ducks whenever he is outside (our old neighbors all had dogs, but they either ignored the ducks or got along with them)

anyways, now we have to keep them all in a coop together overnight and they all stick close to each other during the day. but the boys keep chasing and attacking each other 24/7! how do i stop this? the girls are perfectly though and get along with everyone (except when our rouen mix chases them away because they get to close to his favorite bowl lol)

Just a tip, instead of labeling the title " Help please!?!?", to get more responses, explain what's the problem, "males fighting with each other, advice needed"

Approx how big is there pen? Is there any way you could expand it, but keeping it secure from the dogs. In this case, I feel the fighting is being caused by boredom/hormones.

it is probably 6x6 feet, and they only stay in it from 8:30pm (later when we stay outside after dark) until like 6am

What's your ratio of drake's to ducks? If there are not enough females to makes they get aggressive and can kill a female fighting over it, sorry not trying to scare you. With the change in environment you might be seeing this behavior more between the males.

What about those dogs that are trying to get them? Are they fighting inside the pen and out in the yard? And you have 2-3 drakes and two females?
the dogs are still in their yard, but keep trying to find ways to get the ducks. they are fighting in the coop and out, so we are making a separation pen for during the day (2 drakes in the pen, 1 and the girls free ranging the yard)
