HELP!! What one do i use? my chicken is lathargic, loose stool, puffy feathers, wont eat. someone suggested she has worms & to get Safeguard dewormer for goats. We also found Wazine wormer for chickens but it says not to give them when they're sick. Should I therefore stick with Safeguard - 125 ml bottle. Can you tell me the dosage. I was told 1 to 9 ratio. 1 part Safeguard to 9 parts water. Do you agree?

IF your bird actually has worms, the wazine won't hurt. If she has a respiratory infection or some kind of digestive problem, it MAY bother her. I'd go with the wazine. You might try giving her some hard-boiled eggs chopped up in an equal part of her regular feed to stimulate her appetite.
