My mom and my mom’s friend found a Bob white quail who was in a dog’s mouth when they were headed to town, we have treated the wounds and they aren’t bad at all. I have never had quail before, how do I get set up for her? I will be getting her a mate here soon. Her name is Bobby Any help is greatly appreciated!

Depending on your laws, you'll likely need to take her to a sanctuary, turn her over to game officers or just put her back in the wild since she's not badly injured. There's no reason for you to keep her.

If you choose to keep it, you will need a permit. Also, they need (Bobwhites) a complete and balanced feed ration of 24% protein (gamebird feed).

Luckily enough, you won't have to change it's name!

Yeah that's that's boy x u see the white stripe around his eye that goes from underneath that tells u it's a boy xx
