HELP PLEASE

Hi there! I’m incubating eggs because my momma gen was a week away from hatch and got pulled off and killed by a fox I need help, all my babies hatched but one, he pipped but didn’t break the membrane and eventually stopped squeaking, so I took him out and gently poked a whole into the egg so he could breath, I then set him back in the incubator, I then noticed a little blood looking vein where I poked the hole but I can see him moving in there but not squeaking! My humidity is at 69% and heat at 99.5! Will he survive? I’m about to have a heart attack! So stressful! I can attach a pic if needed. And he pooped about 3-4 hrs before I made the hole!

A photo would be good.
If you can see veins then he is not ready, he might just be resting. If he is making chewing motions he is still absorbing the yolk.
How do you know he pooped?

It happens

It often takes at least 6 or more hours from pip to hatch, so I wouldn't worry to much yet.
You just have to wait, and be patient! Most likely he isn't ready to hatch yet.

Thank you! I can see him moving in the egg, like breathing movements, but no peeping? Is that normal?

Did you just put a hole through just the membrane, at the external pip he already made?
If so it's an odd shaped pip, but should in theory me okay if that's where he broke the shell.

yes he broke the egg shell but he stopped peeping so I looked at him with a flashlight and he had not broken the white membrane so I made a small hole in the membrane so he could breathe. That’s why it’s odd shaped.
