So I have these little ones who I hope, I have rescued. The mother hen was nesting on them and one day as I was changing her water and food, because she wasn't in the coop she was hiding. So they were hatched and one was in the 100 degrees sun by itself and she was not wanting it. So I gave that one to another new mother and she took it. And doing great. But yesterday I realized that the first mom was back in the coop with 5 or 6 babies. And well today I returned to the original hatching place to make sure there weren't any stragglers and well there was. 3 eggs left unhatched and two were half hatched but baking in the, well now 104 degrees sun! So I did what instinct told me to do and helped them out of the egg the rest of the way and now I don't know what the heck to do next. Here's a video of them now and one is bigger and more movement and chirping but the smaller one isn't moving much but is and chirping and occasionally lifts his head up and wiggles around. I understand they are like newborns and probably won't do much at this point but I'm just worried I may have hrmed them by helping them out of the egg. Because I heard somewhere not to do that because it makes them weak. I don't know really because I don't know anything about having newborn chickens so please help me and tell me what to do next for these precious little things.
