So I have these little ones who I hope, I have rescued. The mother hen was nesting on them and one day as I was changing her water and food, because she wasn't in the coop she was hiding. So they were hatched and one was in the 100 degrees sun by itself and she was not wanting it. So I gave that one to another new mother and she took it. And doing great. But yesterday I realized that the first mom was back in the coop with 5 or 6 babies. And well today I returned to the original hatching place to make sure there weren't any stragglers and well there was. 3 eggs left unhatched and two were half hatched but baking in the, well now 104 degrees sun! So I did what instinct told me to do and helped them out of the egg the rest of the way and now I don't know what the heck to do next. Here's a video of them now and one is bigger and more movement and chirping but the smaller one isn't moving much but is and chirping and occasionally lifts his head up and wiggles around. I understand they are like newborns and probably won't do much at this point but I'm just worried I may have hrmed them by helping them out of the egg. Because I heard somewhere not to do that because it makes them weak. I don't know really because I don't know anything about having newborn chickens so please help me and tell me what to do next for these precious little things.

Hello, they should be okay. They seem about as active as newborn chicks are going to be since they just hatched. I would provide electrolytes. Just make sure they are up and active and walking by tomorrow. Although, wait until you get second opinions on this because I'm not 100% sure the info I'm providing is correct.:)

Kinda sorta, well not really. I have tall clear open top tote that I've lined with wood chips /sawdust/shavings, that is covered with paper towels for easy changing. It has a dish with marbles and water and some crumbles in there too. But actually I was able to introduce the bigger chick with the other mother hen and they took to each other well. But the smaller one unfortunately is not doing so well it seems like , well I'm pretty sure that her eyes were open after the hatch but now they are closed. And she wants to walk but can't . When she's still and laying down she can pop her head up and down and around, but seems as though she can't stand when she tries to she just falls forward with her legs tucked under her she won't or can't stand up. She won't eat and will drink if I administer the water to her. She's sweet and likes to be cuddled and having me close to her. And also her wings seem like maybe they are too short or something. She uses her wings and her chest to wobble along to another spot. But I also don't think she can see. She's in bad shape really. Please HELP again. Thank you
