Help Please!

I havent got a reply. The nest of eggs were started on 4/11 Ive kept taking away some to keep it at 15. My hens are first timers. So not sure if they got the idea. One was acting broody but has kinda stopped. I dont know if I should leave the eggs there and start over or what.

Is she sitting on them at all? If not, you will probably need to start over. How long has she been off? If you want to take eggs out of the nest you need to put numbers on them that way you are taking out the oldest eggs each time. But some hens don't like to be disturbed at all and that may make them leave the nest. What kind of hen are we talking about? Good luck

She truelly hasnt been offically sitting on them a couple mornings she was sitting on them and didnt want to be disturbed. So I left her alone. Then one day she was squawking and making noise when I went in the house and kept looking up at the nest. Lately I havent noticed her really interested. Ya you might be right I disturbed her nest by taking some out. I might as well just start over..

She is wynadotte/buff orpington/Astrathorp cross.
