So sorry about your hen.

At 120 degrees chance are that when she drank it made her hotter, I know our temps are reaching 100 and i have to make sure all the water is in the shade cause it is hotter than the water i shower with.

I do not believe birds in general can feel hot and cold when they eat or drink that's why they can eat hot peppers.

I could not find any info on the net but did not look really hard, but when a f friend was teaching me about raise parrots she mentioned this.

I do hope she gets better.
