Help, please!

My friend got an "assorted" bunch of guineas a while ago and it turns out they weren't very assorted. This is the only one that looks different. Just wondering what type you guys think it is. Pearl??
Also, when and how can you tell gender?

Looks like a Royal Purple ket to me, but it may mature to be a Bronze. It will molt once or twice more before it fully matures and will lose all of the pearling/markings it has now, except for some that will remain in the lower flank area and some barring on the wing feathers. Royal purples have a really pretty purple iridescent sheen to their feathers, the Bronzes lack this and have more of a coppery or Bronze-ish sheen instead of the purple (especially on the wings). Looks to me this guy is getting some of the purple already tho...
