Hi, i just had the same wounds happen to my new chickens by my older chickens, they got scared and tried to scurry under the fence and two of them tore the feathers and skin right off their heads near the ear, they were bleeding pretty good, they are now sepersted from my big ones but are still with the new ones, I have five new total, two injured, I probably should seperate them because I do notice the others pecking at the wounds, I pray that they make it and get their skin back.
