I am stumped here, went to check the chickens yesterday and one of my hens was laying on her side panting slightly. I removed her and gave water with electrolytes and she perked up slightly but only moves her head. Seems she can't move body.

How old is she? Botulism is common in poultry, especially ducks, but chickens can get it from eating decayed animal carcasses or plant material that has been buried without air. Botulism symptoms are paralysis in the feet, legs, progressing upward to the wings, and later the neck and breathing muscles. Mareks disease is more common, and symptoms are paralysis of one or more legs or wings. Lead or other poisons, and moldy feed can also cause similar symptoms. Has she been exposed to any of these things?

none of those. She hasn't free ranged right now due to predators. I hatched her in my house last year
