Hi so i got back my hen from someone after half a year and i found out that she had a ton of red mites on her
Last night I put a mites poison in water and put her whole body inside the poison only her neck out.
And today the mites are dead but she has no balance
She just sits
When she stands she can't control her wings and legs and just sits back
Is she poisoned? Ho can i help her?

So what insecticide did you use, and did you follow directions exactly?
Also, she's likely anemic and weak, and that bath was pretty stressful just by itself. Is she eating and drinking? Rinse off the insecticide dip, if she was overdosed; at least consider doing it.
Best to confine her with food and water until she's stronger.

Thx for the answers.
I don't remember the name but i bought it for chicken lice a few month ago and the doc said put 1 cc of it in one litre of water and it turns white like milk.
But i didn't have anything to measure and i probably put too much poison in the water
I washed her off now.
She doesn't like to walk and when i force her looks like she can't control her wing and legs alot
But when i put food in front of her she pecks and eat a little bit.
It's been +16 hours since i used poison

What was the product you used? What dosage did you use? Is it for birds and poultry? Sometimes an emergency flush may help take a poison out of the body. Activated charcoal, Epsom salts water, molasses flushes may be used. Hopefully, she will survive.
How can i use charcoal ?

IMO having her rinsed and then stress free as possible, and eating and drinking, will be best. adding stress by force feeding stuff that's most helpful for ingested poisons isn't the point here.
Maybe make a warm mash? Cooked egg? Applesauce? Eating is really important!

And 1 cc is less than 1/4 teaspoon, not much at all!
