Hi! So my relative got this silkie last year for her birthday. She has been possibly broody already (because she has two more identical ones)

Age: 1 year and 5 months

Symtoms
- sits in nest all day
- doesn't roost. Sleeps huddled in the corner of the coop
- not broody, lays eggs
- very dirty, covered in mud
- doesn't have usual apetite
- has bare belly

Unfortunately that's all my cousin is able to observe. And I'm not going to look at her personally because of biosecurity. Any ideas?

Can they bring her in, clean her up and examine her more closely?
Check for lice/mites, make sure the crop is emptying, see that she's eating/drinking well. Getting a fecal sample to the vet to see if worms may be part of the problem is a good idea too.

I'm not sure they would be willing to pay for a vet. But I will ask if that’s possible. Thanks

Here is a (bad quality) picture of her
