Help prove my husband wrong! :)

Sexing my barred rock

I assume one thing my husband assumes another I found this on the Internet (and of course everything online is true) but it fits a few, but others not at all... It's comb isn't red but a little pinker then the younger one we have.

That's a cockerel, he has a lot of white for a barred rock, and his comb is too red. And his legs are HUGE

i could be completely wrong but I dont believe Ideal Hatchery breeds Dominique? I purchased these at Atwoods who gets them from Ideal

He's a BR cockerel, they grow up BEAUTIFULLY it's the big comb and his color that shows it.

Why do u say that? What features?

Like the others said, thick yellow legs-not dark, too much white- pullets are dark with white flecks, and comb is big and too red at that age.
