Help! Pullet not leaving nesting box and making screetching noises!

My 6-month old Cinnamon Queen Pullet layed a beautiful egg this morning. Everything was well until I came over after lunch and noticed she was sitting in the box. She had already laid an egg that day so I was confused. I left and came back a few hours later to her still there. She looks distraught and is making a high-pitched screetching noise. Is she bound? Is she just broody? She's never been broody before and the noise sounds strange.

Look up videos of chickens who have gone broody. she's never done it before because she was too young.

Yep, broody. You'll learn a whole new language. My favorite is the low clucking sound my Gigi makes when she's broody.

I wouldn't jump to either of those conclusions.
How long has she been laying?
Can you post a video of her?
