HELP!PULLETS DYING IN GROUPS.3 DEATHS IN TWO DAYS!

You need to put a "shallow" water dish in there with them with marbles or rocks so that they can not drown in it.

I agree!! They need the chick starter...

You said they free range..... You need to make sure there is nothing that they can get into when they free range.

WELL THANKS.THAT'S SOMETHING I DIDNT KNOW BECAUSE THE LABEL SAID FEED UNTIL SIX WEEKS OLD.

You're "ideally" supposed to go to a grower formula for chicks until 4 months old, but if that is not an option, the starter should be kept up until 4 months.

IMO.. I would be offering chicken feed (chick starter, grower, layer, etc.) all the time. Ground corn is not nutritionally sufficient no matter how much you free range or how old the chicken is, especially if you want these chickens to lay.

thanks. i just went put them fresh water and some chick starter and they are eating it.also i have a hen that laid one egg and is currently not laying. is this a problem?also i read somewhere about wilted fruit leaves are poisonous. is this true for chickens?
