Help Quail in hot summer

It's 40 degrees now and the poor things are so hot.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm not looking forward to summer. It's already so hot.

At least where I am, I don't have to worry about extreme cold in winter.

I don't have to worry about extreme cold here either. This was the first time ever that it had gotten that hot here.

And there are people who think that climate change isn't real.

The 48 degree days in January were extreme too. It was especially hot last summer. That, along with bushfires = disaster.

I understand. We've been having wildfires galore here too. This year we had a really big one right around the hottest day. It went from 114 F to mid 60s in two days because of all of the smoke.

I'm in Hawaii where the temperature is usually 90 degrees and humid in the summer. My quail love ice in their water and I usually put a refreezable ice block inside with them. The ones made of thick plastic are best.
