HELP!!! Question about Cats in labor Update! The kitties are here!!

She'll start with the breathing like a woman in labor too. PANT PANT PANT PANT PUSH. Kittens take 64days to develop. My cat was to the day exactly!!

Well I wasn't there when she concieved. Right now she is wandering around. I have a fancy leopard print carrying case that came with my Gma's cat and she didn't like it. She is climbing on shelves and in boxes. I think I have homes for all them with no problems.

When I was a kid I had a cat named Ms. Sawyer. She would come and get me when she was ready to have her kittens. She would come and find me, meow like crazy and then walk back out of the room. If I didn't follw her she would come back and meow some more. As soon as I would follow her she would take me to where she made her "nest" and then she would proceed to have her babies. She was a neat cat.

My cats always ended up having their kittens on my bed. I would put towels all over it so the blankets wouldn't get yucky. They also always came looking for me when they went into labor and if I left the room in the middle of the birth, the cat would always jump down and follow me until I went back. The mommies will clean up everything, and this is gross, but they eat the afterbirth as it is rich in vitamins etc, so don't be surprised if you see this happen. If you are there when the kittens are born, sometime the mom will not break the sac around the kitten if she thinks there is something wrong with it, so you need to peel it off as soon as possible so that the kitten can breathe.
I miss having little kittens around, but our cats are indoor cats and my hubby would kill me if they got pregnant. We have too many pets as it is.

Ok guys. About 3 pm yesterday she started. She had 3 big kittens that came out bass ackwards. We made a run to the vet and he fussed over us and helped her pull one out. Ewww. I know it iall natural but it still stinks!!

I would love to see some pictures. She only had 3? How many do they usually have? Are they all healthy? Ok, enough questions, just some pictures now please.

They can have as many as they can. The biggest litter of kitties I had was 6 and they were tiny.

Just so nobody thinks I am an irresponsible pet owner, I already made the appt. for her to be spaded.
