Help!!!! Quick Please!!!!!

You can (and should!) give this bird a supplement incl some live culture yogurt. Give three drops of POLYVISOL enfamil (or equivalent if you are in another country > google the ingredients) which is a liquid childrens A-B-d vitmain. give once a day for a week then taper off the next. In addition to this you can give a good daily formulation vitamin supplement such as AviaCharge 2000 (available to purchase online from McMurry or Strombergs) > when a chicken is dealing with illness parasites or environmental stress there is usually malabsorption to one extent or another present > this means they are unable to aborb the nutrients properly from the feed they are eating... the supplements will help address that and prevent severe deficiency.

She walks around pretty well on her good leg, she's not as active as the other chicks but she does get around.
The taping was not successful, she kept getting off. Also, she seems to do better with it off.
What do you mean by spunky?

Acts like a little stinker....runs around and is curious about everything, but does it with energy. Kind of like when adults say " Wow that little kid is so full of energy and is so busy, I wish I could bottle it up and sell it" (not the kid the energy!)
I guess spunk is slang. That's the best explanation for the word.

No, the vet dosen't answer the phone and has not called us back.
It really is a shame because I would like the chick's leg to be fixed before it gets worse.

I actually have great news. We found a vet who said he would help us and now the little chickie has a cast on his leg. You see, what happened was the chicken broke it's leg and since it was hopping around and limping it caused it's leg to heal but not right, it healed sort of backwards. The vet said we'll have to go back every week and he will gradually turn the chicken's leg. The procedure has a 50 to 60 percent chance of working properly. This is costing us nearly 70 dollars per visit so, it better work.

Yeah!!! I am so glad you finally got there.
Your little chickie is VERY lucky to have you!
