Hi
I have some jumbo Italian Japanese and English black quail incubating in a cheap incubator day 18 one is at least alive but no external activity starting to panic what will happen if only 1 hatched will he die of lonely ness.

Is your quail internally pipped yet?

if only one hatches, you'll probably have to put a mirror in the brooder until you can get chicks about the same age as him/her. I've had it happen before. everything worked out perfect! the lonely chick pecked the others at first but then they were best buddies! :)
 
Do you have at least one calibrated thermometer and hydrometer in your incubator? Your temp and or humidity might be way off, which would have caused all the other embryos to die. There's not much you can do at this point but cross your fingers and wait. Sorry

Well I candles and at least 3 alive I only checked 6 also one has a L air pocket alive and I do have one
