Help! Rabbit testicular injury **gross picture**

What if it falls out completely!? My boys got at each other and one ripped the others out! He seems fine but it doesn't look good! He is a lionhead and I was going to breed him but now I am worried. He is eating and drinking and hoping around like nothing happened... no vet in my area will take him. Idk what to do?

Taking him to a vet would certainly be best, but if you cannot do it, here are the other things I can think of:

--You can leave it alone and hope for the best.
--You can keep it clean, check on it occasionally, and hope for the best.
--If one or both testicles are dangling and flopping, you could remove them entirely. (No testicles would mean no breeding from him, but nothing flopping around might mean faster healing.)
--You could euthanize (kill) the rabbit now. (That would mean no wondering and worrying, and no special care, but it has some obvious disadvantages as well.)
--If he gets a bad infection, and a vet is not an option, I would strongly recommend euthanizing (killing) the rabbit at that point. It sounds like he does not have an infection at present, but any injury has a chance of getting infected later.

Just keep the area clean and maybe put some antibiotic on it. He doesn't look good because he hurts. It will either heal or it won't. if it falls out you can clip it off. I hope you are now keeping your rabbits in individual cages. As Bunnylady says, rabbits can get along just fine until they don't. Then it can get pretty bloody.

I had a buck get an injury a bit worse than this one and it healed up fine. I do not know if he is still fertile though because I do not breed. I did not put anything on it because I heard alot of stuff is poisonous to rabbits and I did not know what was safe that he would not just lick off. I hope yours is still doing well.
My bucks attacked our it her buck and it’s been 5 days it looks so much breed but his testicle is hanging out now. Was your rabbit like that? Can’t afford the vet to do a $500 surgery, so basically waiting to see if he heals. Maybe the testicle will fall off? Thought?
