I have a mixed flock or breed and ages. We have several chickens that are sneezing and some sound raspy. Have added acv to the water I change daily. Added a dose of Nutri-Drench to the water. Have added a few hours in the evening with a warm vaporizer with vet-rx in it. I have also applied the vet rx solution as suggested in the packaging. It has been a week and nothing much has changed. No swelling, no discharge, no watery eyes, etc. They are eating, preening, dust bathing etc... Still loving the fresh fruits and veggies. We did a deep clean of the coop, sprayed for mites, and the temperature dropped for a few nights. I don't know what else to do and if this is normal. There isn't a vet anywhere near me that will treat chickens.

You may want to make sure that your coop ventilation is as good as it can be with windows. Take a close look at any that are sneezing for a swollen eye or eye bubbles. There are a handful of different respiratory diseases in chickens from bacteria, viruses, and mold fungus. With frequent sneezing and some congestion, it could be infectious bronchitis virus. That one lasts about a month, going through the flock over some time. Most chickens recover without treatment, but it can be hard on young chicks. Wrinkled egg shells and other shell problems may be noted.

It can be hard to tell one disease from another, so sometimes testing is done to see what you are dealing with. If one dies, getting a necropsy by the state vet is one way to get answers. Testing is available sometimes through the state vet, but there are independent private labs, such as Zoologix who sends you swabs to collect and send back to them for a respiratory panel of tests.
