help, red lump on chicks neck below ear

Please someone help me, I have 6 week old chicks, they have just started going out and had first night in new house. Today when I went out one wouldn't come out of house. I saw a bright red jellylike lump below her ear. She was being pecked at the.wound and it was bloody. It's like a red eardrop made of rasberry! I brought.her.in and she is asleep on me no
w. What can I do?xx help help

Welcome. If you can, I would clean the wound with antiseptic such as betadine or hibiclens, and apply some antibiotic ointment. Separate her with a small fence so that she can still be part of her flock. A cage can accomplish that. When the wounds starts to heal, put her back with the others and make sure that she isn't pecked. Sometimes having more than one feeder and waterer, and plenty of room with hiding places can help with pecking or bullying.
