HELP! red/yellow bloody sack

we had a new duckling hatched looks like its a few days early but he has a little red/yellowish bloody sack on the outside of his lower stomach ive seen photos and looks like it maybe its yolk but i havent seen anything about it being bloody

Unfortunately, he likely isn't going to make it. He hatched too early and the yolk was not fully absorbed. There are a great many blood vessels connecting him to the yolk, so if there is active bleeding he has probably already bled out.
