To find out about each of the revisions to the code you need to visit the city clerk and ask for copies of the meeting minutes and the passed wording of the changes for the meetings where those changes took place.

Have you found out what the noticing requirements are for your city?

Then you need to determine if the citizens were properly notified of those meetings.

I figured that out some time ago Sonoran. Even if he had the minimum lot to keep chickens I suspect he has too many.

In fact if I've come close to connecting some of the dots he is likely to be close to crossing several lines in the cities ordinances.

sonoran silkies - the database i referred to in this thread was the one listed in this forum. it is the compilation of BYCer's posting whether it is legal to own a chicken in their town.

in time i will find out the risk involved.... ahh, it seems the health dept's i'm speaking with all refer me to the local animal control.

it seems chickens are being villanized. backyard chickens anyway.

I wish i could ask the qualifications of the animal control to determine health risks, but i was just told by the veterinarian dept of USDA that i need to speak with my local animal control or local animal health. and i already know their agenda.
