His REAL mommy came back! We let him outside and he ran back to his brothers and sisters and his mommy accepted him! HAPPY ENDING

That's great! It's always best to be with his real mom. I'm glad his siblings were OK. What did the mom look like? Was she a muscovy?

yeah, she was a muscovy. Muscovy and Mallard ducklings look similar right? they were all super happy to see him (Daffy) though!

Well, muscovy ducklings can have the same patterns as mallards, but they have differences in their tails, legs, feet and bills. The parents, though, look way different than mallards as you probably already know.

You may see Daffy again if these ducks regularly visit your neighborhood.
