Every signature counts!! Please help me keep my chickens!!
Hello!
I've started the petition "Richland Borough Chickens: Raising Chickens in Richland Borough" and need your help to get it off the ground.
Will you take 30 seconds to sign it right now? Here's the link:
http://www.change.org/petitions/richland-borough-chickens-raising-chickens-in-richland-borough
Here's why it's important:
Friends and Neighbors: Two of my neighbors and my family started keeping chickens about 3 months ago. They are our pets, as my kids have named them and they were raised in my home. Unfortunately, we have received conflicting stories about the zoning from the Boro and the County Zoning as to the zoning. We are in many ways being railroaded by a few unhappy people who have decided to dig their heels in on the issue. Chickens are raised in New York City and Beverly Hills. Having them in Richland should be a non-issue. Please sign this petition and support us as we take on this issue. I am hoping that through your support, we can make a sound statement.
Please read the Lebanon Daily News article titled “Who could hate a chicken?” for more information on the issue.
Thank you for all your support!!
You can sign my petition by clicking here.
Thanks!
