This morning when I went to let out my hens, my Rhode Island Red, Juanita, did not want to get off her perch (she's usually the first to run out of the coop!) and I noticed that she had some thing weird on the floor beneath her. It looks like a weird yellowish/green runny yoke and egg white surrounding it, and then I have no idea what the other thing is. Please help. She seemed a little unlike herself when I picked her up and put her outside of the coop near her food. She did not really want to eat it.
I am extra worried because my other RIR died unexpectedly two weeks ago, and I still do not know why. She had been laying flimsy, soft eggs for months.
This hen, however, always lays perfect eggs, and this is the first time something weird has come out.
I have added pictures.
