Help! Rolling chicks!

There's also a puddle below the egg.. I think the innards seeped out or something... Should I roll it over!?

Try making a 'bok bok' noise back at it. They are encouraged by their mother making this noise while they hatch. It may peep for you then and reassure you. What do you have on the base of the incy? Most are wire covered so it would still be able to breath even if the hole was fully down. This is a common occurence during hatch and although I have heard of many deaths happening during the hatching period, I've never heard of one dying from its pip hole being covered. I think if it started to struggle for oxygen, it would move enough to roll again.

I will try that now. There is chicken wire below and it is a styrofoam incubator. I'm really worried about the puddle at the bottom. It looks like the inside of the egg has entirely flushed out.

Hmmm, there shouldn't be an 'inside of the egg'! The chick may not yet have absorbed its yolk sac and that may have ruptured. If that is the case, it may well need help but are you sure that is what you are seeing? What colour is it? What consistency is it?

The wire mesh will allow breathing so no need to worry about that now but the goop may be a problem.

Ok this is really hard to see. But between Jack and Mack there is a small puddle you can kind of make out in the picture. IT also extends to where the bowl is. Mack is the one that was peeping/rolled over.
