I have 2 6-month old roosters and some hens as well. One of my roosters is picking feathers off his neck and some of the hens are pecking at him as well. Based on his age, I didn't think it was molting. It looks pink, but not bleeding. Is there anything I can put on his neck. It looks like it hurts or itches. I will check tonight for mites.

Check them real good for lice. Little white/cream colored bugs. Could just be he’s neurotic too. Low man type deal. If it’s not lice you can buy no pick lotion or pine tar and cover the area.

Can I use the no pick lotion every day? Wouldn't my entire flock have lice if one of my roosters did?

Yeah if you found lice on one bird more than likely the rest would have it too. When you look for lice/mites look real close around his face ears, under his wings and around the vent. It’s best to look at night with a flashlight. You can use a bunch of different products for bugs. Permethrin spray and dust, ivermectin etc..
I use sevin dust and frontline dog and cat spray. Dust the whole bird really good. One spritz of frontline spray under each wing and one spray around the vent but not on it.
If you don’t find any bugs pine tar works and stays on better than the no pick lotion but you can use either.
