Help!! Rooster with broken leg.

Hi, I would put him on antibiotics to be on the safe side. It will not hurt hiim if he does not have an infection and definately help him if he does.

Help from a vet would have been/still would be ideal if at all possible, to be sure to set correctly. Now that a week has passed, this is more difficult.
His lack of eating - PAIN. He needed/needs some pain relief. Five 325mg aspirins crushed per gallon of water (or 1 baby aspirin per cup of water). Do not substitute for aspirin without being sure the alternative is okay for chickens. Hopefully he's drinking?
Ensure maximum nutrition, including some interesting things to eat (sunflower seeds, etc.) to bolster his spirit.

My game rooster broke his leg in a fly, he is hurt pretty bad too but he’s still eating feed and drinking water. I’m following your question for answers also!!
