My flock has been going through dry pox for a few weeks now, most everyone is doing fine and nothing major but my second flock has been hit hard. They’re a little over 16 weeks old and their pox has come with large crusty boils around their beaks. It lookks so gross and I feel so bad because there’s really no cure. I’ve been applying terramyacin if it gets around the eye areas. And also washing with saline, then applying antibiotic ointment to the pox.
BUT here’s my issue, one of my chickens now has these boils on her legs! I’m guessing it’s an infection due to the pox? Any help would be much appreciated!
It feels like these ailments are never ending ;(
