One of our young chickens got her wing stuck under a gate and it appears to be partly severed. Wing hangs limp and is partly detached from body with bone sticking out. Is there a way to reattach and save it, should we try amputating it or euthanize her? How can we prevent infection if it can be saved? She surprisingly doesn’t seam to be in distress over it so I’de hate to put her down if there’s a chance she could survive.

Because of their hollow bones, infection can spread thru their system rather quickly. If you don't have a vet, perhaps if their is a raptor sanctuary/rescue nearby, they might be of assistance.

In the mean time I would try to get some antibiotic ointment. Search for the proper one for chickens. There's an ingredient that it shouldn't contain. I don't remember. I hope some of the experienced members will chime in soon.

The ingredient is anything caine based, pain relief basically.

Ugh, that looks awful not sure that could be reattached without issue.
I'd likely remove the piece, clean the stub, and wrap it until skin recovers the end.
Wait until you get a few more opinions though, i'm not always right. ;)
EDIT: I forgot to mention, that is not an injury that calls for culling. She can survive just fine as long as it does not get infected.
