Help sex my 11 week old silkies

I was told they’re not loud but then I googled “silkie rooster crowing” needless to say, I don’t think my neighbors will be impressed :gig but I am going to try and keep one and give a crow collar a try! :fl And when I swap one of my roos for my friends pullet, I’ll pray for lots of Wee little baby girls!! :lau
Likely not! My Silkies crow more often than almost any other breed I've kept, other than Phoenix.

You must use reverse psychology here, if you want to be guaranteed of girls. Hope for cockerels, and - boom! You've got nothing but pullets on your hands. ;)

What my little silkie lacks in volume is made up for in frequency. From 7 to 9 he non stop crows. Not even scratch slows him down.

Haha yes! I think you might be into something there! We want them as pets and yet My friend who got 3 from the same lady got all girls and she doesn’t care what they are she just wanted them for soup!:barnie

They are definitely all boys, but my silkie boys are actually not that loud. In fact they are quite pathetic sounding, not sure anyone could get cross with them!

You give me a little bit of hope! I hope that we can keep our most favourite and cuddly one! :fl:bow
