Hello,

I am hoping to get help to determine if we have a roo or hen pullet in our Black Australorps flock. They are all 18 weeks old and supposedly all hens when we got the chicks.

We have read several threads on how to tell but still a bit uncertain.

Hopefully these pictures help identify this one.

It's a girl. Beware of mysterious cockerels texting her, watch the bandwidth, and don't let her take selfies after the coop is closed up. Sexting is bad.

Pullet, but PLEASE monitor her phone use! Sexting isn't good when they're young and don't know what they're dealing with. You don't want her getting any unwanted pictures from those cockerels.
