These are chicks I hatched out from shipped eggs (Barnyard Beauties)... the breeds in the mix:
Roosters: BCM, BO, Ameraucana, BSL and SS. Hens: BO, EE, SS, Black Stars, RIR, SLW, Olive Egger, and BA.

I have 4 chicks I am trying to sex; I think there are 2 males, and 2 females, but I'd love some input before I give away the suspected males. :)

They are 8 weeks old

Thank you!!!
Thinking Roo... too bad, he's gorgeous! Hatched from a big olive egg

Second suspected Roo

Female?

Female ?? Not sure on this one.

the first one/ first 3 pics are pullets, and so is the last one. I am unsure on the other(s) . have a look at the rump-tail feathers, if they are pointed then that is a boy, and if they are rounded then it is a girl.

also the black one between the 2 coloured one I suspect a girl but its hard to tell from the feathers, but it has a female face

Thank you, thank you!!!

Girl, boy , girl, not sure on fourth, could be either.

Comb is not the only criteria. Hackle feathers, and then crowing of course. lol

THe first one is very pretty. AN olive eggs??? Mom is 1/2 black copper and looks like a black copper with muffs and no leg feathers-- I think dad is a dominant white EE. He is a blue egger, and is really tri colored. Most likely father, but not 100% sure.

I would hang in there a bit longer on all of them. In mixed breeds the combs do funky things.as far as sizes.
