The comb is pretty red which is usually a good way of telling and a bit big u can also check chicks under 5 days by wing feathers pullets usually have 2 rows and cockerels only one this method isn’t full proof though

Marans comb early. You can normally tell the boys from girls by about 5 weeks. Girls often have larger combs than other single combed breeds but they will not have much color until close to laying age.
