Hello,
First time post so hope this allowed! I hatched 4 gold laced Wyandotte’s who are now 3 weeks old.
I know it’s far too early to definitively sex them but I am rapidly falling in love with them and my husband won’t let me keep any roosters.
I have noticed 3 of the 4 have feathered up much faster and now have very noticeable tail feathers. One looks a week or so behind the others.
Some research I have done suggests roosters take longer to feather up but I don’t want to get my hopes up that we might have 3 girls.
Can anyone give any indication from the pics or is it just too early?
Photo 3 & 4 is the late developer and 5 is him/her compared to another one.
Any help much appreciated
