I purchased 8 eggs from 1 rooster and 2 hens. 7 hatched, and 1 I found trampled (COD unknown by me) after work on day 2 or 3. They are now 2-ish weeks old, and I understand wing sexing is possible at this stage. This is my first batch of SF chicks, so I have my suspicions on what's what but I'm not sure.

What do you guys think? 2 pictures of each, top/wing, and side. #2 's wings are WAY more developed than anyone else, even though they are all about 12 hours age difference. There should be 12 pictures total. Sorry, and thanks 😂 I really hope they upload in the right order.....

Some claim to be able to sex them at that age by the feather colors in the wings. I never found it reliable. Sometimes id get a few that were obvious but most weren't.
Male and female SFs do have different patterns but I always wanted till 3 or 4 weeks and watched the breast feathers.
Cockerels will have mostly black and pullets mostly reddish.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye on that! I figured it wasn't as reliable as people say. I'm hoping there's an expert out there who can do it accurately (a.k.a, wizard) 🤔

Any chest feathers? Those will be your no fail answer pending these are from stock that isn’t hatchery quality.
