Help sexing orpington

Hello, here is are a couple of photos of my orpington ( maybe cross sussex ? ) chicken of 5 months, and am not sure if it's a hen or a cockerel. Any ideas ? Thank you !

Cockerel.

Doesn't look like a cross, just an Orpington with poor coloring. Unless you hatched it from a mixed flock, then a mix is very possible.

Thank you ! I only said may be cross sussex because he came from a mixed flock with sussex, orpingtons and brahmas, would be good if he is pure. What makes you say cockerel ?

He has a shoulder patches coming in along with pointy saddle feathers.

It's possible to get pure from a mixed flock. I have a couple times. But getting mixes are more common.
