We need several things.

1. The age of the turkeys.

2. A full frontal shot of each individual turkey.

3. A full side view of each individual turkey.

4. A picture taken from above and behind that include the back of the neck and the top of the head.

All pictures need to be in focus without any motion blur.

It basically has to do with the size of the snood (the growth between the eyes and on top of the beak), major caruncles (the lumps on the red part of the head and neck), and wattle (the thin flap of skin connecting the chin to the neck). Males have bigger and more pronounced ones than females.

The beard can be an identifier too, but often times doesn't show up until much later (closer to butchering time for those BBW's). Only males have a beard (A tassel of dark fibrous hairs that hangs from their chest).

Males are also often significantly larger overall than females.

So to me it looks like you have 2 females and 1 male. Although if they are very young, you won't be able to tell because they haven't developed those parts fully.

Hens can also have beards. I currently have 4 bearded hens.

Bearded hens are common enough in the wild that states that have wild turkey hunting spring seasons allow the taking of hens with beards even though the spring seasons are meant for the taking of males only.

You can see turkey hens with beards in the following thread.

Right on. I stand corrected on that. I've never seen a BBW hen with a beard though.

If you look through the thread that I linked, @casportpony posted a picture of her Broad Breasted White turkey and her beard.

There was a recent thread where a member was posting pics of his Broad Breasted Whites. One had a good beard, one had a small beard but both were hens.

I looked through it. I was just saying that I personally have never seen it. I've raised a few dozen every year for the past couple years and haven't seen one.
