It is still peeping, and has its beak sticking out, but can't seem to move. I hate to lose it.
One chick that pipped at the same time this morning is now out and fine.
These are under a hen. Can I moisten the encased chick? It is not real warm tonight, but this hen, an Orpington, just flattens herself out and covers them pretty well. I just don't know if that would be more helpful or more harmful.
