This morning I went out to check on my babies, and found this little girl sitting WAY too still. A few moments later, my sister informed me she was like this last night as well.

Moments ago, while I was trying to warm her up in case that was the problem, I noticed some discharge coming from her beak and nostrils. She had been beside the waterer when I picked her up, so I suppose that could have been just water, but I am really worried about her right now! Could this be a respiratory illness?

Don't know if the pic helps at all, but I figured it couldn't hurt

She's also a lot smaller than the rest of my Marans.

it could be a respritory desease
can you get her to eat/drink?
make sure you clean out the brooder really well.
and try to keep the chicken seperated from the rest
it could also be coccidiosis check for blood in there droppings (or it's droppings)
symptoms of coccidiosis are these;
- a huched look (seen in the picture a little bit)
- ruffled feathers
- not eating ( but still drinking)
- blood in poo
are they on medicated feed? if it is coccidiosis there are many treatments for it
see if she will take any yogurt if you have it on hand (yogurt is a probiotic that may help fight the desease. it seemed to help my chicks get better.
good luck!
